From college days and well into their future… Maybe a crush, and maybe more.
It was a “full” wedding – you know the kind of wedding where you feel your heart bursting with joy, love, happiness and a little bit of everything thrown together. Theirs was the kind of story that makes you want to hear more and experience yourself. It was the kind of love everyone dreams of and only a few gets to taste it.
They’ve been friends. It took time but who can tell – some people are meant to be together and the force are with them 😉
It’s beautiful, serene, and romantic – that’s what an El Nido shoot would always be for us. The stories are never the same and the smiles are all genuine.
It was the moodiest weather we had ever encountered at that dreamy island. We need to stop shooting several times during the day to avoid getting soak but there were still short moments to enjoy and laugh it off. The rocks were slippery and the boat transfers were bumpy – going back to the mainland proved the most difficult, we felt like we were in the movie “life of Pi”. It was truly an experience we will never forget.
Again, this El Nido Elopement didn’t disappoint. It was simple, intimate and romantic.
The couple, Bianca and Dave were both musically gifted. They are from Australia and before they came to Palawan, I got this soft beautiful haunting song that I sometimes played along with 2000++ songs I have accumulated over the years from friends and people on the wedding industry. It turned out to be Bianca’s voice. Simply inspiring…
When words fail me, I hope these images will tell about the love story this amazing couple had shared with us on this tiny island of Matinloc in El Nido, Palawan.
Such a sassy engagement shoot. Markie and Krislynne both are undeniably playful and gorgeous. They were fun despite the hot humid weather that day and truly Palawan didn’t disappoint.
We went to Rancho Mitra, the Robinsons Mall here in Palawan and Kamia bay. Those were three different locations — like a mountain, a shopping center and the beach. It’s not surprising we finish quite late yet the photos tell how the shoot went that day.
Definitely a warm, happy and unique engagement shoot we have done so far. Set in the greenery and beaches of Palawan are two bears falling inlove. We basically just went around and snap here and there. One thing I couldn’t forget doing this shoot — anywhere we go, people stare!!! I guess if you see two bear heads walking around, your curiosity will be piqued. So here are some of the not-so-ordinary photos we’ve captured that day.
The wedding was set in the beautiful Island of Modessa in Roxas, Palawan.
It was a super sunny day on that remote island with their family and closest friends. A truly good day to get married.
Jake the all around groom was like the planner, florist, stylist and coordinator rolled into one. He must be the busiest on that day in the island. He had it all planned out until — they realized that the marriage license was left on the mainland. The officiating minister can’t marry them – yet. The bride were not informed and the preparations continued. Finally, the license came and the wedding pushed through before it totally got too dark.
The bride’s entrance is still etch in my memories ’til now. All the guests and even the Pastor were looking for her — when she came riding in a blue boat from the other side of the island. Her backdrop were the beautiful sunrays as the sun sets for yet another morning.
They had the most amazing sunset wedding by the beach. A wedding worth to be shared.
Cheers to their love story.
More than a decade of loving plus more..
