From college days and well into their future… Maybe a crush, and maybe more.
It was a “full” wedding – you know the kind of wedding where you feel your heart bursting with joy, love, happiness and a little bit of everything thrown together. Theirs was the kind of story that makes you want to hear more and experience yourself. It was the kind of love everyone dreams of and only a few gets to taste it.
They’ve been friends. It took time but who can tell – some people are meant to be together and the force are with them 😉
I can’t quite explain the joy we have to shoot this wedding (even just their prenup) — they are both joyful, easygoing and captivating inside and out. They’re the type that spells the word F-U-N in their personalities. I remember Mike( Mike Guayco Films) asking them ” ang saya lng cguro pag kayo magkasama, nag aaway din ba kayo?” (It must be always fun when you’re together, do you ever fight?) to which they replied with a laugh and poke fun with each other.
It was always nice to be around them and having nice conversations with them about just anything is a blessing I’m super thankful. Did I say the bride loves dogs and even pets Tsu tsu (our studio dog hehe).
Having the opportunity to capture their forever and call that “work” is something I would treasure in my lifetime.

The wedding was set in the beautiful Island of Modessa in Roxas, Palawan.
It was a super sunny day on that remote island with their family and closest friends. A truly good day to get married.
Jake the all around groom was like the planner, florist, stylist and coordinator rolled into one. He must be the busiest on that day in the island. He had it all planned out until — they realized that the marriage license was left on the mainland. The officiating minister can’t marry them – yet. The bride were not informed and the preparations continued. Finally, the license came and the wedding pushed through before it totally got too dark.
The bride’s entrance is still etch in my memories ’til now. All the guests and even the Pastor were looking for her — when she came riding in a blue boat from the other side of the island. Her backdrop were the beautiful sunrays as the sun sets for yet another morning.
They had the most amazing sunset wedding by the beach. A wedding worth to be shared.
Cheers to their love story.
More than a decade of loving plus more..
